W. Craig Howell received a B.A. from Southwest Texas State University and an M.S. in Communication Studies from University of Southwestern Louisiana. Before his legal career, he served as Publications Supervisor of the Texas Administrative Code and Texas Register for the Texas Secretary of State. He marshaled the first printing of the Texas Administrative Code and as early as 1986 implemented in-house desktop publishing for state publications.

Mr. Howell received his J.D. from Creighton University, where he wrote and edited for the Creighton Law Review. Before entering private practice, he served as a staff attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit in St. Louis and clerked for two Nebraska State Supreme Court Justices.

Mr. Howell represents individuals and small businesses and entrepreneurships in the areas of employment rights, contract litigation, home construction, contracts, and personal injury. His work has resulted in frequently cited judicial opinions on the breadth of uninsured motorist coverage, calculation of damages in employment discrimination, and admissibility of scientific expert testimony.

Mr. Howell is licensed in the states of Nebraska and Missouri and various federal jurisdictions including the Supreme Court of the United States. He is an active member of the American Association of Justice, Trial Lawyers for Public Justice and American Civil Liberties Union.

Mr. Howell is also active with or a member of Literacy Center for the Midlands, University of Nebraska-Omaha Athletics, Nebraska Shakespeare Foundation, Joslyn Arts Museum, and Durham Western Heritage Museum.
